Paul Snyder

Mr. Snyder has been in heavy/highway construction for over 25 years. In 2002, Mr. Snyder started American West Construction, LLC (AWC). In its first ten years, AWC has completed over $ 100 million of work with 50 employees. In his capacity as company president, Mr. Snyder has managed every aspect of the company from personnel management to project procurement. In addition to starting and running his own construction companies, Mr. Snyder has spent his career estimating and managing a wide variety of work ranging from $100+ million highway projects to $ 1 million infrastructure improvements/developments.

Brian Schrameyer

Mr. Schrameyer started with American West Construction, LLC (AWC) in November of 2003 and became a member in January of 2009. Throughout his career at AWC, he has estimated and managed jobs that have included earthwork, utilities, and concrete structures for both private and public owners.

Rob Casagranda

Mr. Casagranda joined American West Construction, LLC (AWC) in 2009. Mr. Casagranda has a strong accounting background both in job experience and education. Mr. Casagranda manages all treasury functions and cash flow management for AWC in addition to overseeing all Human Resource functions.

Tim Burkhart

Mr. Burkhart joined American West Construction, LLC (AWC) in November of 2018. He is a skilled manager with over 35 years of experience in the construction industry; including organizational management, project and program management, construction equipment maintenance and management, personnel training and skill development, human resource administration, and construction operations oversight.

Jason Arnold

Mr. Arnold began his career in heavy/highway construction in June of 2005. With American West Construction, LLC (AWC), Mr. Arnold has managed a wide variety of public and private projects.

Jude Kolb

Mr. Kolb joined American West Construction, LLC (AWC) in February of 2014. Mr. Kolb has over 30 years of heavy, highway, and airport construction experience ranging from estimating to project management to field operations and inspections. He has extensive experience with DoD, commercial, and government projects as a project manager, project engineer, estimator, and superintendent. He is adept at managing all phases of construction whether that is from an office or hands-on in the field.

Jonathan Kentner

Mr. Kentner joined American West Construction, LLC (AWC) in September of 2016. Mr. Kentner has over 15 years of heavy civil construction experience including – Earthwork (Scraper, Truck & Hoe/Downtown Excavations, Advanced Structural Excavations), Utilities (Subdivision, Downtown Mains & Tie Ins, Municipality Rehabs), Demolition (Multiple Stories), Railroad Work, Slip Lining, Concrete, and Asphalt Construction. He has extensive experience and is proficient with AGTEK, Grade Control, and GPS systems.

Estimator

Thalia Haro

Ms. Haro joined American West Construction, LLC (AWC) in June 2016 as a project engineer. In this role she quickly gained knowledge in the construction of large commercial projects and was soon promoted to the position of project manager in March of 2018. She has managed several challenging projects including several stream rehabilitation projects in Coal Creek Canyon and municipal service line projects throughout Metro Denver. In June of 2019, Ms. Haro moved into the role of estimator and is continuing to expand her role in the construction industry.

Luke Benbow

Mr. Benbow joined American West Construction, LLC (AWC) in October 2017 as a project engineer. Mr. Benbow has over 4 years of heavy civil construction experience as an estimator, field engineer, project engineer, quality control manager, and assistant superintendent who has worked on various projects including subway construction, marine work, and roadway construction. He also uses his construction background as a heavy equipment operator in the Colorado Army National Guard.

Jon Miklya

Mr. Miklya joined American West Construction, LLC (AWC) in August of 2016. Mr. Miklya is a skilled project manager with over 12 years of experience in the field of construction and commercial development.

Joshua Luebbert

Mr. Luebbert has been in the heavy civil construction industry for over 15 years.  Prior to joining American West Construction, LLC (AWC) in April of 2017, Mr. Luebbert worked in remote Alaska and Northern Canada on projects ranging from ice road construction to dam reconstruction.  Since joining the AWC team, Mr. Luebbert has managed over $25 million worth of public and private projects across Colorado.  Mr. Luebbert particularly enjoys the challenge of working in the mountains of Colorado on the DOT roadway and culvert rehabilitation projects that he has managed.

James Ratajczak

Mr. Ratajczak joined American West Construction, LLC (AWC) in February of 2019. Prior to joining AWC, Mr. Ratajczak was the project engineer and/or construction manager on several major bridge projects throughout Colorado and Washington. He has solid communication and leadership skills with a background in transportation and heavy civil construction projects.

Melanie Richmond

Ms. Richmond has been in heavy/highway construction for over 29 years. She has worked as a project manager, capital improvements manager, area manager and as a highway construction engineer on both small and large bridge/road projects and drainage/utility projects. Ms. Richmond joined American West Construction, LLC (AWC) in 2012 as a project manager and has managed several western Colorado projects for AWC. Early in her career she managed over $60 million worth of roadway and bridge construction projects and began her career in heavy/highway construction as a Highway Construction Engineer for CDOT.

Cortney Marcinczyk

Miss Marcinczyk made the journey from Connecticut to Colorado in 2015. She has a background in environmental work and has been in and out of the construction industry since 2014. Miss Marcinczyk joined the American West Construction (AWC) team in 2018 as a Project Manager Assistant, where she continues to grow in her role and gain more knowledge of the civil construction industry. If you talk to her on Monday mornings, she’ll usually tell you about some crazy climbing or snowboarding adventure that she went on over the weekend.

Enrique Camacho

Mr. Camacho has more than fifteen years of experience in utility construction. Mr. Camacho joined American West Construction, LLC (AWC) in May of 2010. Mr. Camacho started construction as a laborer in college and has held every position to include estimator and project manager.

Brian Bushey

Mr. Bushey has more than 20 years of experience in heavy/highway construction. Over the course of those years, Mr. Bushey has gained a wide variety of heavy/highway construction experience as he has worked in every capacity from laborer to project manager. In October of 2009, Mr. Bushey joined American West Construction, LLC (AWC) as a field superintendent.

Jeremy Witthuhn

Mr. Witthuhn has been in heavy/highway construction for over 18 years. He began his construction career in 1995 as a laborer and quickly worked his way up to become a foreman in 2000. He has worked as a foreman on both bridge/road and drainage/utility projects throughout Colorado. Mr. Witthuhn joined American West Construction, LLC (AWC) the summer of 2013 as a foreman and was promoted to superintendent in 2014.

Mike Erb

Mr. Erb joined American West Construction, LLC (AWC) in April of 2015 and has more than 30 years of experience in heavy/highway construction. Mr. Erb started work in a family-owned and operated construction company in New York. He began his career as a pipe layer and worked his way up to superintendent. During this time, he has also worked as a project manager and estimator.

Kael Blair

Mr. Blair has more than thirty years of experience in heavy/highway construction.  Over the course of these years, Mr. Blair has gained a wide variety of heavy/highway construction experience as he has worked in every capacity from laborer to superintendent.  In March of 2014, Mr. Blair joined American West Construction, LLC (AWC) as a foreman and was promoted to superintendent in 2016. As a superintendent, Mr. Blair is responsible for the supervision of four pipe crews and current projects valued over $30 million.

Otis Bennett

Mr. Bennett joined American West Construction, LLC (AWC) in March of 2018. Mr. Bennett performs all preconstruction risk assessments, company safety tracking, risk mitigation, risk audits, and all accident/incident investigations. He is a certified OSHA, First Aid/CPR, and Smith Systems Safe Drivers trainer, providing onsite training for all employees.

Carmen Brown

Ms. Brown joined American West Construction, LLC (AWC) in May of 2013. Ms. Brown is a skilled administrator with over 15 years of experience in the engineering and construction field. Ms. Brown has extensive experience working on all phases of DoD, Design/Bid/Build, as well as commercial engineering/construction projects.

Robin Parkhill

Ms. Parkhill has over 26 years of construction accounting experience. She joined American West Construction, LLC (AWC) in September of 2018, focusing on equipment costs, trends, and valuation. Ms. Parkhill’s background includes accounting in the following trades: Drilling and Blasting, Mobile Crane, Electric, Earth Moving, HVAC, and Custom Home Building.

Ms. Miller joined American West Construction, LLC (AWC) in August of 2015 and is AWC’s Accounts Payable Supervisor. Ms. Miller has over 21 years of experience in the field of accounting with an emphasis on construction account balances and analysis.
